Our Wooden Egg Cups are shaped from unfinished pine. They are soft and chewable and perfect for young and mature animals. Great for building tooth strength.  The Egg Cups are a fun environmental enrichment product that satisfies the desire to chew, gnaw and manipulate objects. The egg cups are recommended for any small animal such as gerbils, deer mice, chinchillas, cotton rats, rice rats, multimammate rats, spiny mice, degus, voles, and other rodents. Rodent enrichment is important in laboratory settings and is believed to improve test results and outcomes. The wood is compatible with IACUC standards for research with Swiss Webster, nude, transgenic mice, NOD, FVB, BALB, and other strains of laboratory mice. Recommended animal enrichment at research facilities as well as zoos, animal shelters, and anywhere small animals are kept.
