Description

Our wood chews are milled from softwood for easy gnawing. The chews are 100% natural and dyed with safe food coloring. The brightly colored chews provide interesting environmental enrichment for any small animal such as gerbils, deer mice, chinchillas, cotton rats, rice rats, multimammate rats, spiny mice, degus, voles, and other rodents. Rodent enrichment is important in laboratory settings and is believed to improve test results and outcomes. The wooden ball is compatible with IACUC standards for research with Swiss Webster, nude, transgenic mice, NOD, FVB, BALB, and other strains of laboratory mice. Recommended animal enrichment at research facilities as well as zoos, animal shelters, and anywhere small animals are kept. Can also be used as a replacement on chew chains for most hard-billed birds!
