In response to requests for even lighter cage floors, RAC-Lite aluminum cage floors were developed. These floors are 35% lighter than coated steel floors of the same size. The height of the RAC-Lite floor is 2-1/4″ from the floor to the top of the mesh. This allows almost two inches of additional headroom for the larger dogs. As with our Original RACS cage floors, the larger cages have an extra pair of legs in the center. RAC-Lite floors are shorter in height, weigh less, and therefore are easier to handle than their steel counterparts

35% Lighter Aluminum Cage Floor!

RACS-Lite lightweight cage floors are 35% lighter than coated steel floors of the same size. In addition, this floor is self-supported and will fit in a cage with no additional support necessary. The surface is elevated at approximately 2.25″. The lightweight cage floor is made of expanded aluminum and completely coated with plastisol (polyvinyl). The plastisol coating provides a comfortable and warm resting area. Furthermore, they are easy to handle.

The Aluminum RAC-Lite is 35% lighter than coated steel. Coated Glossy Brown.

The RAC-Lite cage floor is available in standard sizes to fit most manufactured cages. However, custom floors can be ordered if we don’t have the size you require. See the size chart below.
