The Boinker Ball engages the primate’s curiosity by providing entertainment through tactile and auditory stimulation. The 3” red polyethylene ball bounces up and down on a stainless-steel rod and spring assembly. The bouncing ball makes a fun “boink” sound when tapped. The Boinker Ball provides environmental enrichment in any enclosure including animal transportation, laboratory settings, veterinary enclosures, and zoo habitats. It is a favorite primate enrichment product with curious monkeys and apes, including tamarins, capuchins, marmosets, macaques, langurs, orangutans, gibbons, and chimpanzees. The “Boinker Ball” is part of our Primate Enrichment System (PES). It attaches to cages and enclosures with the Universal PES Bracket. The bracket makes it easy to insert a variety of enrichment products, like the Food and Treat Feeder and Wave Mirror. All PES components are autoclavable making it easy to maintain hygiene and IACUC standards in laboratory settings.
