Laboratory Animal Microtattoo Systemis a quick, efficient and affordable method of permanently identifying laboratory animals (particular mice and rats as early as 1 day old). The system utilizes a hypodermic needle at one end of a stainless steel forcep and a small metal cup containing Green Tattoo Paste at the other side of the forcep. By squeezing the forcep together, the needle penetrates the toe/foot pad, ear or tail of the animal and injects a deposit of green paste.

Digital Stroke Rate DisplayThe stroke rate is displayed on an LED readout. These ventilators are the most accurate and reliable available, due to feedback controlled motor speed.
User Selected PauseModel 56125 can be paused at any point in the respiration cycle for taking measurements or for gas analysis.
The valve mechanism on these ventilators features nearly zero dead space and superb durability with no leakage. Expired air may be channeled for analysis and/or recycled, when used with anesthetic gases.
Cylinder/Piston Assemblies AvailableCat units are supplied with one of two easily interchangeable cylinder/piston assemblies that enable a broader range of stroke volumes.
The CONSTANT COLOR FIBER-LITE® illuminator meets both these demands. The current to the bulb is DC to prevent the 60 cycle oscillations in output level found in any bulb operated on AC current. These oscillations are not visible to the eye, but are visible to optical sensors, high speed films, and photocells.
